We are proud to have successfully launched WeChat Pay acceptance in China, with over 1 billion active users worldwide, together with OTP Bank and GateHUB team, in January 2024 in Hungary, and we did it in a unique way, together with WeChat's tourism platform Mini Program.
WeChat Pay is a digital payment tool from the Chinese mobile app WeChat, offering a smart and efficient payment solution for both shoppers and merchants. After almost 2 years of preparation, WeChat Pay acceptance in Hungary is now available through HelloPay DigiWallet and started with the launch of the adoption application.
Payments are made through our strategic partner, OTP Bank. The app is currently available on Android devices and supports settlement between major foreign currencies.
